The TCC stainless steel riser-pipe particle counter is used primarily as a monitoring system in the drinking water sector.
The system can evaluate three freely selectable particle sizes. Threshold values for monitoring the contamination level can be set for each channel. The devices can be connected to a central evaluation unit via an RS-232 interface or a 4–20 mA current interface. Flow is maintained at a constant rate using a riser pipe. By adjusting the measurement time on the TCC, the particle count can be determined relative to volume.
Optional: As an alternative to the riser pipe, a pressure control valve can be used to ensure constant flow. The inlet pressure range is 1–10 bar.
