BIOMIC V3 is an open system that utilizes digital imaging to automate the reading and CLSI/EUCAST interpretation of clinical microbiology tests and QC from various manufacturers. The systems can be customized with optional modules such as Broth Microdilution*, Disk Diffusion, MIC Strip, Organism ID, Colony Counting, Agar Dilution*, and Urine Screening. BIOMIC V3 employs AI algorithms to generate test results and assist with user decision-making and reporting, incorporating pattern matching, character recognition, and image analysis.
BIOMIC V3 provides a digital record of test results along with high-resolution images. An LIS/LIMS interface—combined with barcode scanning and touchscreen input on a 24-inch monitor—offers laboratories an optimal setup for standardizing, recording, and reporting test results.
